Abstract

The glass industry in Egypt relied on the superior manual skill that was used in shaping, coloring and decorating glass. Glass is one of the materials that does not decompose with time, so glass waste takes up a large amount of space and cannot be disposed of easily. Therefore, the glass recycling process has become very important due to the amazing increase in waste. and its harmful effect on the environment and human beings.
Therefore, it was necessary to find the appropriate technical method to benefit from this waste by recycling it. The glass hulls were crushed and sieved, so that this powder could be used in producing ceramic glass mosaics that can be used to clad walls and decorate them internally and externally. Thus, the ceramic glass resulting from the glass hulls performs two functions, one of which is aesthetic and the other is aesthetic. Functional, which is to protect the environment from the accumulation of a huge amount of glass waste.
