This article is based on a fundamental question: Can Arab cultural journals (Al-Hilal Magazine, Al-Arabi Magazine, Arabic Magazine, Arab Magazine of Culture, etc.) provide us with rich blogs, inspiring ideas, and referential narratives about art and the other in the Arab world and the world at large? Can these journals represent platforms for preserving the nature of artistic practices and the stakes of shaping the image of the Other at the level of categorization, whether detailed or pejorative? What is the relationship of artistic blogs to the techniques and strategies of weaving stereotypes and social stigmas towards the other who is different in terms of religion, race, language, sect, and culture?
This question brings us to another area of understanding and a rich field of research: the importance of Arab cultural journals during the current time and their accessibility and readability for everyone, especially now that most cultural journals are digitising their issues and publications and allowing public access to them.
