The use of cultural heritage (tangible and intangible) in plastic art has contributed to the enrichment of national plastic practices in particular and Arabic in general, and to the development of its intellectual, aesthetic and artistic balance, and this heritage continues to this day to inspire Tunisian and Arab artists and feed their various artistic practices (painting, sculpture, calligraphy, weaving, ceramics...).
The Arab heritage represents one of the important civilizational and historical components of the Arab countries, and it continues to evolve and renew according to each era to preserve the identity of the peoples and ensure their continuity and local specificity, although the Arab peoples share some of the contents and heritage elements, but each of them has a specificity that ensures their national identity. Perhaps art is one of these evolutionary aspects of this heritage, as it is the guarantor of its continuity on the one hand, and the guarantor of its transfer to others and thus its acceptance by the latter. Art (in general and Arab art in particular), as the ambassador of the creative process, contributes to the dissemination of identity and enhances its belonging and acceptance by the other (the Western world)...
